The RVC men's basketball team loses, 68-66, on a buzzer-beater from Morton.

ROCKFORD (WREX) — The 3-0 Rock Valley College men's basketball team tested itself against a fellow unbeaten team Tuesday night, with Morton pulling out a 68-66 win over Rock Valley. Morton is an NJCAA Division II school, which is the level RVC will move up to next season.

The teams battled throughout, with East grad Chris Burnell banking in a 3-pointer with 8 seconds remaining to tie the game at 66. But Morton brought the ball up and got it to J.R. Cison, who beat the buzzer with a baseline jumper to lift Morton to the victory.
