Spray-Tek expects to hire 50 employees in a 75,000 square foot facility for a total investment of $30 million in Beloit in the next three years.

BELOIT (WREX) — Spray-Tek is one step closer to opening its new facility in Beloit.

The company held a groundbreaking ceremony Thursday afternoon.

Spray-Tek, Inc. is a privately-owned provider of specialty ingredient processing services to the food, nutrition, pharmaceutical, beauty & personal care, household products and soft chemical industries.

Spray-Tek’s expansion into the Beloit area involves property located on Colley Rd. Spray-Tek expects to hire 50 employees in a 75,000 square foot facility for a total investment of $30 million in Beloit in the next three years.

The company says Beloit was chosen for its new location because of the raw materials for dairy-based products from around the area.

The city is looking forward to Spray-Tek coming to Beloit.

"They are a great company to work for, they're a family company, so I'm looking forward to the Beloit community getting to know Spray-Tek," said Jennifer Hall, the President and CEO of the Greater Beloit Economic Development Corporation.

Spray-Tek's Beloit facility will be in the same corridor as the Amazon fulfillment center.
