CHICAGO — (WREX) — Thursday's Thanksgiving Day game versus the Detroit Lions may be Chicago Bears coach Matt Nagy's last.
According to a report from Patch, the Bears have told Nagy Thursday's game will be his last as the head coach of the team.
The Bears have never fired a coach during a season before.
Nagy has been with the Bears since 2018 and has led the Bears to the playoffs in 2 out 3 seasons. Nagy led the Bears to their first NFC North title since 2008 in the 2018 season.
If Thursday's game is Nagy's last as the coach of the Bears, he would would finish his tenure in Chicago with a winning record. He currently sits at 31-27 record.
