Lifeworks Photography Studio hosts Family Pumpkin Festival

Dozens of jack-o-lanterns will light a photography studio in Rochelle thanks to a fun event Lifeworks Photography hosted on Sunday

ROCHELLE (WREX) — Sunday's brisk October weather brought dozens of families out to Lifeworks Photography Studio in Rochelle for their yearly Family Pumpkin Festival.

The studio started the event last year by getting 100 pumpkins for families to carve. Afterwards, the studio will put out the jack-o-lanterns on weekends for people to drive by and see.

This year, the studio bought 175 pumpkins to allow more people to craft their pumpkin creation.

Lifeworks Photography Studio Owner Daniel Williams says the event is a great way to bring the community together.

"One of the missions of our studio is to treat clients like they're family, and this is part of it," Williams said. "Bring them out, have fun, enjoy the day, bounce around and just spend some time with us."

Williams says he dreams of growing the event to 1,000 pumpkins someday.
