One person shot in Freeport late Tuesday night

The victim's injuries are considered non-life threatening.

FREEPORT (WREX) — A person suffered non-life threatening injuries after being shot Tuesday night, police say. 

Freeport police confirmed with the 13 Investigates team that the shooting happened around 9 p.m. in the area of S. Blackhawk Ave. and W. Spring St. 

Details on the shooting are limited, but police say one person was shot. 

No arrests have been made in the shooting.
