Our employees are our greatest asset, therefore we are committed to training at all levels of our organization. We have the experience to effectively and efficiently meet your needs.
Len started this business in 1991, but his experience in this industry goes back even farther than that. Before he opened LDR, he worked construction for fifteen Years. Len takes an active role in the company, to make sure we're meeting the requirements we need to, to stay successful. In addition to going out and inspecting certain jobs, Len makes sure LDR is current on what it needs to be for all the different insurance companies we work with. He also helps keep lines of communication open between project managers and our customers. When Len isn't at the office, he loves to spend time with his family, boating and golfing.
Steve Poynor- Vice President & General Manager
Steve oversees all operations for LDR. He makes sure the project managers are getting their jobs done in a timely manner and helps schedule the water crews when emergencies arise. Steve has been with LDR since the spring of 2002, but he's been in the restoration business for about 20 years. Steve is a retired Cherry Valley Firefighter and has been a Trustee for the Cherry Valley Fire Department for close to 20 years. When he's not at work, you'll likely find him spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He's been married to his wife Laurie for more than 30 years. They both love to ride Harleys.
Donna Roach- Treasurer
Donna Co-Owns LDR with her husband Len. They met when she was just 12-years-old! She oversees the accounting aspects of the company. In her spare time Donna loves time with family, boating, walking and horseback riding. She has a true love for animals especially dogs and has a passion for organizations that make sure they're treated humanely. Donna also volunteers for the Northern Illinois Pug Rescue and Adoption Agency. You'll probably run into her and her 5 dogs at its annual "Pug Jam".
Kathy Brogren- Office Administrator
Kathy is usually the first person you'll talk to when you call LDR. She makes sure we have all the information we need so we can get people out to your home as soon as possible. She schedules initial appointments for homeowners with our Project Managers, and handles all insurance claim information between you, and your carrier. Kathy likes reading, cooking, and solving crossword puzzles. She is involved with church activities and enjoys spending time with her family.
Karen Smith- Office Manager
Karen started working at LDR in 2001. She's our office manager who handles accounts payable and has other data entry responsibilities. She also helps Kathy, our office administrator with phone calls and answers questions you may have about how we operate. When Karen isn't busy at the office, crunching numbers and making sure our employees get paid, you'll likely find her and her husband Paul on the golf course.
Heather Roach- Human Resource Manager
Heather joined LDR in the fall of 2007. She's responsible for hiring new employees, as well as keeping current ones up to date on their training. Heather also sees to it that we're abiding by all the state and federal laws in the workplace so LDR stays a fair and desirable place to work. In her spare time you'll likely find Heather in the kitchen as she loves to cook. Otherwise she'll be spending time with her husband David and their two dogs, or curled up with a good book.
Jim Gryder- Cleaning & Mitigation Supervisor
Jim is another one of LDR's seasoned veterans as he's been with the company for more than 15 years. He's the guy you'll talk to if you have a broken water pipe, flooded basement, or any other type of water damage in your home. He supervises both the cleaning and water crews, so when a call comes in, he schedules a crew to come out to make sure your house gets dried then cleaned. Even though he's from Illinois, Jim loves the Dallas Cowboys. He also loves to travel, collect sports cards and to watch TV.
Jeff Rushford- Project Manager
Jeff is one of the most experienced project managers at LDR as he's worked at the company for the past 18 years. He loves serving as a go between for insurance companies and our customers. Jeff also realizes how great it is to help someone who feels like they've lost everything, get back on their feet so their home feels like home again. Jeff volunteers for Heartland Community Church and also enjoys fishing, camping and metal detecting. He and his wife Daphnie have been newlyweds for 18 years.
David Roach- Project Manager
David has been a project manager for LDR since 2004. He's usually one of the first people you'll see after you call us to report your loss. David writes estimates for some of the jobs that come in, and guides you through the process of re-building your home from beginning to end. Since a lot of LDR's work is covered by insurance, David also acts as the go between FOR our customers and their insurance company. David loves playing Indoor Soccer, and walking his dogs with his wife Heather.
Tom Kelly- Project Manager
Tom is also project manager for LDR, and has the same responsibilities as the other 3. He's worked for the company since 2006. Tom will help you rebuild your home, and will guide you through the project from start to finish. Tom loves to go boating and snowmobiling when he has some free time. In addition to that, he's also an avid Indoor Soccer player, and he's involved in a nationwide car club.
Kevin Aldermen- Project Manager
Kevin has been at LDR since 2009 as a project manager, working with homeowners to restore their properties to pre-loss conditions. He will help ensure that your project goes along smoothly from the 11st meeting to the completion. Kevin has been involved in construction for 14 years from a carpenter to current position. His experience assures your home will be in good hands. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife Angie and 2 children. He likes spending time outside in the summer playing various backyard games and is a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan.
Steve Nijoka- Production Superintendent
Steve is the person who makes our construction operations run smoothly. Since 2001, Steve has been in charge of scheduling the construction workers for all the different jobs that come in to the company. He also hires any sub-contractors for work that goes beyond what our guys have the certification or qualifications to do. His responsibility is great, but when he gets time off you can usually find him hanging out with his wife Lisa and their young daughter. Steve also has a soft spot for motorcycles.
Stacy Wallace – Marketing Representative
Stacy joined LDR in November of 2009 after relocating back to Rockford from the Portland, Maine area. Stacy meets with insurance agents and adjusters and lets them know how the company can help them get their customers back in their homes as quickly and painlessly as possible. She brings many years of media buying and plays a key role in the advertising efforts of LDR. Stacy loves reading, photography and fine art. Having lived in Maine for almost 10 years, she also loves going back to visit to cheer on the Red Sox and enjoy some lobstah! Stacy is an ambassador for the Rockford Chamber of Commerce, Forward Janesville, and the Northern Illinois Insurance Adjusters Association.
Matt Ludens - Marketing Manger
Matt joined LDR in November of 2009 and oversees the marketing aspects of the company. His primary role is to increase the awareness and brand of LDR in the local communities as well as in the insurance industry. Although new to the restoration industry, he has many years of sales and marketing experience. When not at work, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife Karinne and their three children, coaching youth sports, and being involved in the community. Matt is also an avid sports fan and has a profound passion for the University of Miami.
