Cuts - – Rockford’s News Leader

Apply direct pressure onto the cut to stop the bleeding.  Apply a bandage or large band aid over/around the cut and continue to apply pressure.  If possible, elevate the cut to further control the bleeding.  The main goal is keeping pressure on the wound until the bleeding is controlled, keeping the wound clean and wrapped. Then get a ride to OSF PromptCare.
