Refreshing & less humid air moves into Stateline

After a couple of humid and gray days, a dry and comfortable weather pattern will be in place for a couple of days. This after a cold front moved through early Wednesday, dropped dew points by nearly 20 degrees. By the midday, dew points where in the 50's.

You can expect mostly sunny skies for Wednesday, with temps heating into the low 80's. There will be a breeze out of the north-northwest. We'll hold onto the drier air through Thursday, giving us two days to enjoy the comfortable conditions, with temperatures in the 80's.

Enjoy the comfortable conditions for next two days. By Friday, the heat and humidity spikes, making conditions feel like the 90's. There's a chance for showers and storms possible very early Friday.

A heat wave looks to be on the way for this weekend and unlike the May heat we experience, it will be much more humid and you can expect dangerous heat indices, especially Saturday and Sunday, with heat indices above 100°! Have a plan to stay cool since there won't be much relief from the heat this weekend, even at night since overnight lows will be very warm as well.
