Warming up, then tracking cooler air

We get to squeeze out one more summer-like day, with temperatures climbing into the low 80's. But you can expect slightly cooler days ahead into the weekend, with a few chances of wet weather into weekend.

Thursday will be dry and not muggy outside, with temperatures warming to near 82°. The there will a few more clouds mixing with the sunshine. There also will be bite of a breeze out of the east, with wind gust as high as 25 MPH.

For Friday, a weak cold front slides in, providing slightly cooler weather. We'll be in the middle to upper 70's, so still a little warm for this time of the year. The weather remains dry despite the front coming in. There's a small chance for an isolated rain shower late Friday into early Saturday.

Saturday and Sunday stay in the 70's, with scattered showers and possible storms likely Saturday night and Sunday.
