Crusader Community Health receives $10,000 grant

The Women's health program at Crusader Community health has received a $10,000 grant from Rockford's Illinois Bank & Trust.

The donation comes from the Take A Swipe at Breast Cancer debit card program. Each time a customer uses their Pink Ribbon debit card, the bank will donate a portion of each transaction to the crusader Women's health program.

This funding will allow many local women access to timely cancer screening and diagnosis. The women's health department has been receiving these funds since 2012.

"We are delighted with the ongoing positive response to this program by our customers," Jeff Hultman, Illinois bank & Trust President CEO said. He continues "Customers really appreciate that part of every one of their Pink Ribbon debit card "swipes" goes such a great local cause,"

Illinois Bank & Trust is the largest bank headquartered in Rockford.
