13 News Special Report: The deadly blind spot you might not know about

When you think about the blind spots of your car, you might not realize that there's one right in front of you. 

Safety experts say most vehicles have a blind spot of six to eight feet. 

That means when you're looking through your windshield, you might not be able to see something right in front of your car, including a small child. 

In 2017, 59 children died after being hit by the front of a car, according to the safety organization Kids and Cars.
