Thick fog flooded the Stateline Wednesday afternoon, and looks to persists into Thursday. Some of the fog is likely to be dense in places and could cause impacts on travel around the Stateline.
DENSE FOG ADVISORIES have been issued by the National Weather Service until 9 AM Thursday for near-zero visibility at times.
Under dense fog conditions, visibility may drop under 1/2 mile, creating very hard-to-see conditions. You may have only seconds to react to anything in the road, so drive much slower if you are encountering the fog. Leave plenty of space between you and the vehicles around you as well.
Slick spots are possible early Thursday as temperatures will be near the freezing point. The fog may linger throughout the morning, then clear as rain showers take over Thursday afternoon.
