A Rockford man will spend 12 years behind bars for a drug conviction.
Authorities say in April 2016, the Winnebago County Sheriff's Office caught 29-year-old Ryan Pancyrz with a revolver and 49 plastic baggies of cocaine.
He was arrested at his home on Fifth Street in Rockford and later charged with possession of cocaine with the intent to deliver and possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.
He pleaded guilty back in November and was sentenced Monday in federal court.
