Our recent record-breaking snowy stretch continues to lead to notable numbers, namely where this February ranks already on the all-time list.

16.1" of snow so far this month puts February 2018 at 10th place on the list of snowiest February's. It may only take another 4" or so to put this month into the top 5 on record. 

February 1994 is still currently the snowiest February on record, with 30.2" of snowfall. That was nearly 4 times the average amount of snow that February usually gets. This month sits at over 2 times the average amount. 

This winter had been fairly quiet for snowfall, with a 10" deficit in snow going into February. Over the 9 day stretch, 60% of this winter's snowfall so far fell during those 9 days.  The weather this week does not feature much for snow, but Thursday and next Monday could be chances to see some snowflakes, mixed in with some rain.
