Illinois State Police say black ice caused a three car crash Monday morning on U.S. 20 East, just past the Main Street exit.
Nobody was injured in the incident. One of the three cars was not damaged and was able to leave the scene quickly. ISP stayed on scene to assist the other two cars, which were damaged.
The Illinois Department of Transportation has been treating state highways since snow swept in to the early last week. However, officials are still warning you to drive slow and be aware about the dangers of black ice.
