Shaun White, Chloe Kim headline Monday night's primetime Olympic coverage on 13 WREX

PYEONGCHANG, South Korea -

Monday’s primetime coverage begins at 7 p.m., and is expected to feature snowboarding phenom 17-year-old Chloe Kim leading the way in the women’s halfpipe final. Her U.S. teammate, five-time Olympian Kelly Clark, is also expected to contend for a medal. They will likely be challenged by two-time reigning world champion Cai Xuetong of China.

Three-time U.S. Olympian Heather Bergsma, the world record-holder in the 1500m, and teammate Brittany Bowe, who won the 2015 world title in the event, are expected to compete in speed skating’s women’s 1500m final.

Monday’s live primetime’s coverage also includes the men’s halfpipe qualifying, as two-time Olympic gold medalist Shaun White makes his PyeongChang debut seeking redemption after his fourth-place finish in Sochi. U.S. teammates and first-time Olympians Ben Ferguson, Jake Pates, and Chase Josey also could vie for podium spots.

Coverage begins with two-time Olympic gold medalist Ted Ligety leading the U.S. in the men’s super combined downhill phase.
