Plan on getting up and leaving earlier than usual for work, as roads and sidewalks will have a fresh layer of snow to contend with during the Wednesday morning drive.
The snow showers arrive late overnight and only stick around to right before sunrise Wednesday. The light yet steady showers, however, should produce another 1-2" for much of the Stateline, with amounts between 2" and 3" south of I-88 by early Wednesday. This will be enough to create slick conditions on the roads.
You'll want to get up and out the door a little earlier than usual, to allow you extra time to shovel and to drive slower to work or school. The evening drive home should be fine with dry weather throughout the rest of the day.
We'll get a longer break in between snow showers, but more snow is possible Thursday evening. Further rounds may be coming Friday and Saturday. Keep tabs on the forecast with the 13 Weather Authority throughout the week so you know what's coming with the next rounds ahead.
