The 3rd Annual Rockton Yeti Fest takes places this weekend at the local settlers park. Organizers say thousands came out to take a look at the creative snow sculptures that were being carved in the middle of downtown Rockton. Snow sculptors competed against one another for the snow sculpting exhibition.
The fest includes plenty of activities for kids and families to enjoy such as, a giant snow fort, dog sledding, and the Onsie pup crawl. All events are free to the public and anyone who just wants to get out and enjoy what winter in Rockton has to offer.
There were a couple new attractions such as the Yeti hunt and "Skate like a Yeti" for people of all ages to participate in.
All proceeds for the event will be donated to the Rockton Lions Club.
