Have the shovels and snow blowers ready tonight, as a new blanket of snow is expected by Monday morning. Several inches of new snow start falling this afternoon.
The snow starts up after 4 pm across the Stateline, and stays light and steady through noon Monday. Since the snow will be sticking around so long, 2" to 4" of accumulation is expected. This snow will be light and fluffy, so it will be easy to move, but will blow around and may make roads slippery. Be careful driving around tonight and early Monday.
While the snow does taper off by Monday afternoon, an additional round of light snow to flurries is possible Monday night. Up to 1" could fall going into Tuesday morning. The rest of the upcoming week looks to stay dry until possibly next weekend.
