Two people have been displaced after a house fire in Rockford Saturday evening.
Rockford Fire says crews arrived to the 1000 block of Rockton Avenue around 4:40 p.m.
Firefighters found smoke and flames showing from the south side of the house.
Officials say crews were able to bring the fire under control in about 20 minutes.
No one was home when the fire started.
Fire officials say the home has around $50,000 worth of fire, smoke, heat and water damage, which has made it unlivable at this time.
The fire is still under investigation, however officials say they believe the cause to have been accidental.
