There are two names that won't be on the ballot in March. That's because the Illinois State Board of Elections voted to remove them.
The board of elections unanimously voted to remove 67th District candidates Jesse Aguirre and Lisa Jackson. After a hearing, the board decided the two Democrats didn't provide the 500 signatures required to get on the ballot, saying some signatures were outside of the voting district, some weren't genuine and some signatures had incomplete addresses. Bradley Williams filed objections for both of the candidates with the State Board of Elections.
Maurice West II, Valeri DeCastris, Gerald Albert and Angela Fellars are still on the ballot for the Democratic primary. There are no Republicans running for 67th district representative.
