A Tennessee police officer was shot during a traffic stop, and police are still searching for the suspect.
Police say they are searching for Ronnie Lucas Wilson - who is listed as a member of the Aryan Nations gang.
Officers say he fired on a police officer as he was being pulled over for speeding.
They say Lucas fired a shotgun at the officer while still driving his vehicle.
Then officers say he stopped his car and started repeatedly firing on the officer who was wounded in the shoulder.
The police officer did not return fire - he got on the radio and gave the code for officer shot.
Within minutes several units descended on the area, but Wilson got away.
Knoxville Chief of Police David Rousch says Wilson is known to the department - and they consider him dangerous.
"He is listed as a member of the Aryan Nations Gang and he also currently has an outstanding warrant for a violation of probation for aggravated assault," said Rousch.
"We understand that charge initially was attempted murder. Obviously we're seeking an attempted murder warrant as we speak for what he did tonight."
The wounded officer is stable and is expected to survive.
