A 21-year-old man is arrested for allegedly making a bomb threat toward Freeport School District on Monday.
According to Freeport Police Department, Roy L. Jones, of Freeport, allegedly anonymously threatened the school district, saying he had a bomb and would blow up one of the schools.
Jones, who is not a student at Freeport School District, was found and taken into custody on Wednesday. He is charged with 3 felony counts of disorderly conduct and could face up to 5 years in prison. Jones is being held at the Stephenson County Jail on $250,000 bond.
