Who says cops can't have a sense of humor?
With Thursday being 4/20, the unofficial "marijuana holiday," police departments around the country are having fun setting up "traps" to catch smokers who decide to celebrate today.
In Washington, Illinois, police used junk food and a giant mousetrap in their efforts to enforce the law.
The Wyoming, Minnesota Police Department set up a trap that included a variety of chips, soda and video games, while an officer with a net waited nearby.
And Iowa State University Police sent out several social media posts with pictures of their "weed traps."
On a more serious note, the police departments also sent out posts on social media today warning against driving while intoxicated and substance abuse.
