2016-17 Golden Apple Award finalists announced


13 News is excited to announce this year's finalists for the Golden Apple Awards. 

Nearly 400 teachers were nominated, and now committees have narrowed the finalists down to 20. 

The finalists are:

We want to send a big congratulations to all of the finalists. Next, they will be observed by trained community volunteers on four separate occasions in their classroom from January through February. Then, five teachers will receive the prestigious Golden Apple Award in surprise classroom presentations right here on WREX.
