An area of low pressure brought another weekend of accumulating snow to the Stateline area. For the second weekend in a row, northern Illinois received several inches of snowfall.
The highest snow totals for our area were in the Freeport and Loves Park regions with totals near 8 inches. Rockton and Roscoe received near 7 inches of snowfall. Winnebago, Rockford, Cherry Valley, Belvidere, Poplar Grove, and Caledonia came in near 6-7 inches. Much of Stephenson County (aside from Freeport) saw near 5 inches of snow.
The lowest snow totals were in Lee County, where places like Dixon, Shabbona and Ashton received between 3 and 5 inches of snowfall.
