One of the men involved in a car crash that killed a Rockford attorney two years ago pleaded guilty Thursday.
Bryant Locke, 22, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for his role as the driver.
Police say Locke and two other men, Ronaldo Fort and D'Angelo Brooks, robbed a cell phone store on Southtowne Dr. in Belvidere back in August 2014. After the robbery, the three men took off and crashed their car into a car driven by Karen Williams on Perryville Road in front of Menards.
Williams died later at a hospital.
Ronaldo Fort was sentenced to 33 years in prison for his role in the armed robbery and deadly crash.
