The Winnebago County Coroner's office has released the names of the victims of a deadly crash at the I-90/I-39 junction Saturday.
Six people were involved in the rollover crash Saturday morning near Cherry Valley.
According to the coroner, Veronique Misigaro, 55, of Wheaton, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The coroner lists the cause of death to be blunt trauma of the head and abdomen. Dative Akimpuhwe, 27, of Wheaton, was pronounced dead at OSF St. Anthony's Hospital just before 10 a.m. Saturday. The coroner lists the cause of death to be blunt trauma of the head due to a motor vehicle crash.
According to police, both Misigaro and Akimpuhwe were ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
The other four passengers were treated for non-life threatening injuries at OSF St. Anthony's Hospital.
This crash is still under investigation by the Illinois State Police.
