The Chicago Bears announced a series of roster moves on Sunday night with one week until their 2016 season opener in Houston.
The team made the release of eleven-year kicker Robbie Gould official, ending his tenure with the Bears as the franchise's career leader in points scored (1,207) and made field goals (276). His field goal percentage of 50 yards or longer of 74.2% is the the third-best in NFL history.
The Bears made an addition to the offensive line on Sunday, signing former Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Josh Sitton to a three-year deal. Sitton was released by the Packers earlier on Labor Day Weekend, and immediately landed with his former employer's long-time NFC North rival. Sitton has been to three Pro Bowls.
