Nearly a thousand people enjoyed Saturday's weather by going down to Settler's Park in Rockton for the second annual Hanz Brew Fest.
The event started last year to honor Todd Hansmeier, one of the two victims in the Terence Doddy double homicide in 2014.
More than a hundred craft brews and ciders were available to sample along with food vendors from the Rockton area.
It was all for a good cause. Proceeds from the sales are awarded as a scholarship to one Hononegah senior.
Last year's scholarship winner Ally Limke showed her appreciation by volunteering at this year's event.
"I think it's an awesome way to support the community and keep Todd's memory going and the way that they just give to the people in the community really reflects his character," said Limke.
Limke will use the scholarship from Hanz Brew Fest to attend Wartburg College this fall.
