Kevin Flack is no stranger to the top of the local golf leaderboards - he won the Atwood Memorial last week in a playoff. He continued that summer momentum with a Father's Day victory in the Ballard Memorial at Sandy Hollow, winning the two-round event by five strokes.
Flack held off a final round charge by Danny Gorman before Flack took over on the final four holes, recording birdies on three of them. The former Men's City champion shot a Sunday 68 for a 132 aggregate score. Gorman shot a 67, 70 during the two-day event.
Joining Flack and Gorman in their group was Robert Dofflemyer and Joey Watts, who finished third and fourth in the championship flight respectively.
It was a special Sunday for Flack on Father's Day.
"I really wanted to get this one for my Dad and my Granpda, who came out with my brother. It was a good day all the way around."
