Students are now able to experience life as a Native American who lived hundreds of years ago.
Lockwood Park is debuting its Native American Village this week. It's been years in the making to give students a first-hand experience in the life of the America's first people.
"Today they have phones, they have televisions," Lockwood Park Manager Debbie Ackerman said. "They can really experience what it was like hundreds of years ago when that was not available."
Park officials say they're excited for more schools to get out and experience the village.
