Kids of all ages and abilities try their hand at creating works of art.
The Rockford Art Museum hosted their "No Boundaries" art day Saturday.
Kids could paint, print-make and even get their own t-shirt with a special design from Rockford Art Deli.
Participants create original art, and then see it displayed at a pop-up art show afterwards. Organizers hope to teach the importance of art.
"Making art is fun for everyone no matter where they stand," said Miranda Lindvall, the Education Coordinator at Rockford Art Museum. "So we just want to make sure that kids feel like kids and can really have some fun and kind of break out of their normal routine and do something a little different."
"No Boundaries" partners with Rockford Park District Therapeutic Recreation as well as Easter Seals Autism School for this annual event.
