Mothers to-be came together Sunday to plan ahead for their little ones.
The 4th annual LaborFest Expo was at the Prairie Street Brewhouse Sunday.
From current moms to expecting ones, people came to learn and shop for all their baby needs. More than 30 vendors set up, ranging from clothing, health specialists, and childbirth educators.
Admission was free, but donations were welcomed. Money raised will go towards local childbirth non-profits.
"Resources for new families in Rockford is something that has been missing for a long time and desperately needed in our area," said Emily Dickey, the owner of Luna Studio and host of LaborFest. "So with events like this we can help raise awareness for providers in our area."
One resource is Luna Studio in Rockford, which offers pregnancy and post-partum classes for new moms and their families.
