Harmony for Hunger concert to raise money for local food pantries
ROCKFORD (WREX) -
One local group is singing songs, all for a good cause.
The Alleluia Quartet will perform at the Harmony for Hunger event Friday, April 15.
The 8th annual Gospel concert will go towards raising money for local food pantries.
To date, the group has helped raise more than $75,000. This year, the Triumphant Quartet, a nationally renowned group., will also perform at the event.
"They will be singing in addition to us, so it's a win-win," said John Vanderheyden, a member of the Alleluia Quartet. "It's an excellent evening for entertainment, and we're raising money for a great cause."
The show is at Hononegah High School from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are just $10 and can be purchased in advance or at the door, subject to availability.
