Some Illinois Democrats cross over to vote against Trump

CHICAGO (AP) -
Some Illinois Democrats are so opposed to Donald Trump that they are choosing Republican ballots in Tuesday's primary just so they can vote against the businessman.
Among them is Penny Shank of Springfield who says his views on immigration and women's rights leave her feeling "Trump is an absolute joke."
Trump has led polls in the state.
Among his supporters is Gayle Swoik of west Springfield. She says she voted for the Republican presidential candidate because he brings attention to problems like illegal immigration. She also has a sense he'd be good to veterans like those in her family. But she acknowledged feeling fuzzy on the details.
She says "his policies are in transition" and like any candidate "he has the right to change his positions."
