The Chicago Blackhawks and Rockford IceHogs completed an organizational sweep on Sunday as both teams won their games, one more dramatic than the other. The Hawks beat Ottawa at home 3-0 in Corey Crawford's sixth shutout (#1 in the NHL), while the Hogs picked up a 3-2 overtime victory at the BMO Harris Bank Center against Milwaukee.
Duncan Keith, Artem Anisimov, and Andrew Desjardins scored goals in Chicago in the Blackhawks' victory. In Rockford, Pierre Cedric-Labrie scored two goals, including the overtime winner.
Prior to the game, the Blackhawks announced they had lent defenseman David Rundblad to Switzerland, then during their game tonight, the organization announced it had traded IceHogs forward Jeremy Morin to Toronto in exchange for Richard Panik.
