Hononegah trailed by 13 points to Boylan in Rockton as the third quarter wound down, but Jordan King's three at the horn cut the deficit to 10. The Lady Indians floored the gas pedal from there, erasing the deficit and defeating the Lady Titans, 66-64. Meagan Matuska grabbed a loose ball off a block on the final play and converted the layup to complete the Hononegah comeback.
In the Big Northern boys ranks, Winnebago held off a late Lutheran comeback in a 76-73 victory for the Indians over the Crusaders. Byron recorded a conference victory at home against Stillman Valley as the Tigers topped the Cardinals, 54-39. Byron's Dillon VanLankvelt led all scorers with 19 points.
