Anthony Guglielmi, the Communications Director for the Chicago Police Department, says that officials have a "person of interest" in the death of Kyrian Knox. He would not identify the person.
Investigative update - detectives have identified a person of interest wanted for questioning in the disappearance of Kyrian Knox.— Anthony Guglielmi (@AJGuglielmi) November 11, 2015
Guglielmi said he is a man, known to the Knox family and has ties to Rockford. What those ties are, Guglielmi said, are that he has friends or a place here in town.
Chicago Police want this person to come talk to detectives and "do the right thing," according to Guglielmi. Guglielmi said Rockford Police are assisting them in locating this person of interest and reaching out to him.
"We want him to come speak to detectives in Chicago or wherever he may be," said Guglielmi. "We can make arrangements to come question him, too."
