The Tigers boys team won the sectional title at Prairie View as Trent Snodgrass earned top medalist honors with a 77 score. The girls team was one of three to advance out of the Peru St. Bede sectional, along with Eastland and Geneseo. Local individuals to advance to state from that sectional were Rockford Lutheran's Natalie Hooper and Caitlin Schoepfer, and Dixon's Olivia Pultorak.

Rockford Lutheran's Matt Tamar is also going to state as an individual out of the Byron sectional.

The 2A boys golf sectional at Freeport will send Genoa-Kingston's Nick Adamczyk, Sycamore's Trent Scott, and Sterling's Nick Ceruzzi to state. The 3A boys sectional featured two NIC-10 teams and various conference individual competitors, but none advanced to state.

Madasyn Pettersen, whose high school career with the RPS 205 co-op is off to a flying start in her first two years, advanced to state in the AA girls sectional.
