Prayer Vigil and Search in Rockford Continues for Kyrian Knox

Supporters from Chicago and local residents teamed up to help search the area for Kyrian Knox.

"On the outside I look perfectly find, but on the inside I'm a wreck," said Lanisha Knox, mother of Kyrian Knox.

Knox said she's desperate for answers about her missing son Kyrian.

She is in Rockford this weekend, along with a bus full of supporters from Chicago to find him.

"I honestly never knew that he was missing, because as they say, he was with my best friend's dad," said Knox.

Lanisha dropped two-year-old Kyrian off in Rockford back in August.

He was reported missing last month. So far Rockford Police tell us they do not have any updates on the case.

Supporters posted several fliers in the area where Kyrian was staying.  That is exactly where she and others looked this weekend, in the area near College ave. on Rockford's south side, first starting the search off with a prayer.

People from all over the Rockford area and surrounding cities joined the group. Some do not even know the family.  They just wanted to help.

"A two year old don't have a voice." said Cathy Perry, a volunteer from Machesney Park.  "They can't say I need this, so we as a community have to be his voice."

Everyone searching hopes someone will speak up.

"Somebody knows something," said Pastor John Fluker, from Chicago.  "They're just not telling it, but they know."

Lanisha said there were no clues after their search.
