Man, juvenile shot in Beloit parking lot

On September 27, a little after midnight patrolling City of Beloit police officers heard a string of gunshots.

At approximately 12:25 a.m., the officers were able to find evidence of a shooting at the 600 block of 4th Street in the City of Beloit, in a municipal parking lot. 

Shortly after, two shooting victims arrived at Beloit Health System, 1969 West Hart Road in Beloit. One was an adult male while the other victim was a juvenile male.

Police say, one of the victims was shot in the shoulder and the other was shot in the leg but both injuries were non-life-threatening. 

City of Beloit Police believe a disturbance occurred in the parking lot that led to the shootings. The investigation is still ongoing and no suspect information has been released.
