"It's as easy as riding a bike." That's a saying not exactly true for everyone, like kids who can't ride. But a Rockford program is trying to change that.
It's the iCan Bike Program through the Rockford Park District.
It helps teach kids with disabilities how to ride a 2-wheel bike.
The park district says 20 kids will learn how to ride a bike and they'll come away with more than just that skill.
"It allows for independence, socialization, confidence, it's a really great opportunity to learn this life skill and this environment, this safe kind of controlled environment that actually develops the skills progressively," said Jordan McDonald, the Rockford Park District recreation coordinator.
