Kyle Slattery set the 36-hole record at 13-under par during the 2015 Rockford Men's City Golf Classic, and finished a 72-hole title winning performance on Sunday, shooting a +5 77, good enough for a six-shot victory.
Slattery shot a first-weekend 130, followed by a second-weekend 158, building enough of a cushion to win the championship. Jamie Hogan and Robert Dofflemyer each finished six shots behind Slattery, with last year's champion Kevin Flack finishing fifth overall. Mick Hockinson was the fourth-place finisher.
Slattery will attend SIUE in the fall after graduating from Boylan this past spring.
