UPDATE: The missing St. Charles girl has been found safe according to the Help Find Emily Facebook page.
The post stated:
"It is with tremendous joy that we would like to tell you ..... All 17,000 of you.....
That Emily is officially HOME!!!!
We do not have any fine details. But the important thing is that she is home, she is safe, and she is with her family that loves her more than words can say.
This community and everyone that put forth their time, their hearts and their efforts should be so incredibly proud.
Thanks to you ALL!!!"
A 14-year-old girl has been missing for nearly 5 days, and her friends and family are looking for help finding her.
Emily Czajkowski, of St. Charles, IL, has been missing since 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22.
She was last seen in downtown St. Charles near the river wearing a brightly colored shirt and shorts, knee-high blue/black socks and carrying a large snow leopard pattern fur bag/backpack.
She is approximately 5'6" and 110 lbs with brown eyes and dyed blonde hair.
Family and friends are asking community members to share the Facebook page they have created to help find her.
