Nearly 300 cars were displayed in downtown Pecatonica for the 11th annual Cars on Main event that took place Saturday, July 25.
Out of the 300 cars, 43 have been awarded as judges favorites for being unique. One car that stood out of the crowd was a 1927 International truck owned by Robert Hunter of Pecatonica.
Hunter spoke on how this truck is internationally known, "There are pictures of the truck are all the way around the world and it's listed as the oldest truck in the world still actively delivering grain."
All the parts on the 1927 model are original including an owner's manual. Hunter says he delivers at least one load of grain a year in the truck to keep the truck's legacy alive.
This car show was a free event thanks to the businesses of downtown Pecatonica.
