Rockford PRO/AM announces changes for next week's event


The Rockford PRO/AM announced lineup changes for next week's tournament at Rockford Country Club on Monday, July 13. With his playoff loss at Greenbrier, David Hearn qualified for the British Open at St. Andrew’s, and has withdrawn. With the final changes to the John Deere Classic field this week, the PRO/AM will subtract John Peterson, Charlie Beljan, and Kyle Stanley. New additions feature Chesson Hadley, Jason Gore, and Steve Wheatcroft.

Chesson is one of the brightest young stars on Tour. He’s had 3 top 10 finishes in his sophomore campaign at Pebble Beach, the Texas Open, and the Zurich Classic.  Chesson’s currently 68th in the FedEx Cup. Jason Gore has made $6.6 million in his PGA Tour career. Steve Wheatcroft is having a nice season on the PGA Tour highlighted by a 2nd place finish at the Humana Challenge and a 12th at the Zurich Classic.
