BELOIT (WREX) - On June 4, 2015 Beloit police responded to a gas station in the 1800 block of Shopiere Road for a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found 22-year-old Demonte Green with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Police launched an intensified hunt for 20-year-old Ricardo Holloway and 31-year-old Morean Williams.

Saturday night Beloit police gained information from the community about the possible whereabouts of Holloway. Using a license plate reader police stopped a car near the area of 8th Street and West Grand Avenue. Holloway was immediately identified as the passenger in the vehicle.

Officers searched Holloway and discovered heroin and marijuana on him. Officers arrested Holloway and three others in the vehicle. The three suspects were interviewed and then released from police custody. Holloway was transported to Rock County Sheriff's Office jail and is being held on a warrant for attempted homicide.

Sunday afternoon Morean Williams turned himself in for the same attempted homicide. It is not known when Holloway and Williams will appear in court.

Beloit Police Detectives believe they have all suspects in custody for the attempted murder.
