UPDATE: Beloit police searching for shooting suspects, one person in critical condition

BELOIT (WREX) - UPDATE: The vehicle believed to have been used during the incident was recorded at 8:00 a.m. this morning in the 1600 block of Porter Avenue.

Officers are also now searching for 31-year-old Morean Williams from Beloit. Williams has a current warrant issued for his arrest on a Probation Violation and a Felony warrant for party to the Crime of Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide has also been issued. 

Beloit Police say it is believed the participants in the incident were known to each other and that the crime itself was not random.

Around 6 p.m. Thursday night City of Beloit police were called to a gas station in the 1800 block of Shopiere Road for a report of shots being fired.

When officers arrived, police were notified that a gunshot victim had been taken to a local hospital by private vehicle. Police say the victim has life threatening injuries.

Officers are searching for 20-year-old Ricardo Holloway of Beloit. Holloway has a current warrant issued for his arrest on Probation Violation. Holloway is considered armed and dangerous.

The investigation is currently ongoing by the City of Beloit Police Department. Anyone with information in regards to this crime and Holloway's whereabouts is asked to call the Beloit Police Department at (608) 364-6801 or Beloit Area Crime Stoppers at (608) 362-7462. Anyone with information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000.00.
