Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois celebrated local girl scouts who sold over 500 boxes of cookies this year.
Saturday May 30th at Camp McCormick in Stillman Valley, nearly 250 girls took part in 'Super Seller-Bration.'
This event recognizes the top ten girl scouts fall product program sellers. All participants were able to swim, rock climb, play on bouncy homes and cook s'mores.
One of the top four sellers, Amber Arnold, says, "Selling cookies means getting to spend a lot of time with my friends from scouts, getting to sell with them and getting to come up with a lot of cheers and chants. It's just having a bunch of fun while trying to sell cookies."
Amber sold over 2,500 boxes of cookies this year. Along with the other top 3 sellers, Amber was rewarded with a trip to Disney World with her family this summer because of their exceptional sales.
